Justin Baynham
Justin TL Baynham, M.D.

Justin Baynham was born in Houston, Texas and raised in Arlington, Virginia. He received his B.S. and M.D. from University of Virginia, and while there was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. After completing his internship at Georgetown University, Dr. Baynham performed his residency in Ophthalmology at the University of California, San Francisco, receiving a Heed Fellowship, the national award recognizing excellence in ophthalmology residency. His subspecialty training in vitreoretinal surgery was performed at OHSU’s Casey Eye Institute, where he was appointed Instructor in Ophthalmology. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Baynham and his wife Allison enjoy tennis, skiing, hiking with their dog, running, and exploring the Pacific Northwest.

Andrew Westfall
Andrew C. Westfall , M.D.

Andrew Westfall was born in North Carolina and raised in Dickinson, North Dakota. He received his B.A. from Drake University and his M.D. from Oregon Health and Sciences University where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha a medical honor society. Following medical school, he performed his internship at Providence St. Vincent’s Hospital and then returned to OHSU for his ophthalmology residency at the Casey Eye Institute and received a Distinguished Service Award. His advanced training in vitreoretinal disease was at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Westfall has broad experience in all areas of medical and surgical retinal disease, and his research has been published in numerous journals and has also authored a chapter on the treatment of vitreoretinal trauma. Dr. Westfall joined Retina Consultants LLC in 2005 and is an associate staff member at Casey Eye Institute at OHSU. He is Board Certified and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He enjoys playing golf and basketball along with spending time with his wife and children.

Monica Michelotti
Monica M. Michelotti, M.D.

Monica Michelotti was born and raised in Los Alamos, New Mexico. She received her B.A. with honors from the University of Chicago. She did her medical school training at the University of Michigan where she graduated with honors and then stayed for her ophthalmology residency at the Kellogg Eye Center. She completed subspecialty training in retinal surgery at OHSU’s Casey Eye Institute and is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She has been invited to international institutions and conferences to present her work on improving the quality of care given by eye care providers. Dr. Michelotti and her husband enjoy hiking, playing soccer, kayaking, and travelling with their young daughter.

Scott McClintic
Scott M. McClintic, M.D.

Scott McClintic was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He received a degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan and then graduated with honors from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed his residency training at the University of California, San Francisco and subsequently studied retinal disease at the University of Auckland in New Zealand. After returning to the US, he completed a retinal surgery fellowship at OHSU’s Casey Eye Institute and practiced as a retinal surgeon in the Portland and Vancouver areas before joining Retina Consultants. He is board certified and remains actively involved in clinical research. His work has been published in textbooks and prestigious journals, and he has received multiple academic honors and awards. He has a strong commitment to philanthropy and volunteers with the Casey Eye Institute’s Community Outreach Mobile Clinic as well as on international surgery missions. Previous trips have taken him to Ghana, Haiti, and Vietnam. In his free time, he and his wife, Nina, enjoy skiing, trail running, and frequent travel.
