Biography

Andrew Westfall was born in North Carolina, and raised in Dickinson, North Dakota. He received his B.A. from Drake University and his M.D. from Oregon Health and Sciences University where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha a medical honor society. Following medical school, he performed his internship at Providence St. Vincent’s Hospital and then returned to OHSU for his ophthalmology residency at the Casey Eye Institute and received a Distinguished Service Award. His advanced training in vitreoretinal disease was at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Westfall has broad experience in all areas of medical and surgical retinal disease and his research has been published in numerous journals and has also authored a chapter on the treatment of vitreoretinal trauma. Dr Westfall joined Dr. Servais and Dr Farmer at Retina Consultants LLC in 2005 and is an associate staff at Casey Eye Institute at OHSU. He is Board Certified and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He enjoys playing golf and basketball along with spending time with his wife and children.
